Identifying a geothermal reservoir involves locating areas with exploitable thermal resources through geological and geophysical studies. Its characterization determines the properties of the fluid and the reservoir, such as temperature, permeability, and pressure, in order to assess its energy potential. Finally, its development consists of designing and implementing the necessary infrastructure to efficiently and sustainably extract and reinject the heat.
What do we do?
We identified
In Spain, there are numerous geothermal reservoirs that have been studied and utilized since ancient times, particularly since the Roman era. Most of them are still in the early stages of characterization, which makes it necessary to carry out rigorous selection processes and preliminary studies to properly assess their true energy potential.
We develop
Once a reservoir has been identified, its characterization to determine its potential for development requires significant investment in specialized work, including geophysical surveys, reservoir modeling, and deep drilling.
We operate
After completing the characterization phase, the project moves into the development and utilization of the geothermal resource for the generation of thermal and electrical energy. Surface facilities occupy up to 300 times less space than other energy alternatives, providing clean, dispatchable, and locally produced energy.

EEE (Earth Energy Explorer) is a pioneering Spanish company dedicated to the exploration, development, and long-term operation of deep geothermal resources. We are committed to delivering renewable baseload energy, advancing projects that are fully viable under current electricity market prices in Spain.
Our business model is based on solid and structured financing, combined with the commercialization of energy through PPAs, strengthening project performance and reducing risk.
We pursue market-based returns, developing projects that are solid, sustainable, and competitive, making a decisive contribution to the energy transition.
We design specific strategies for integration into the National Power Grid to ensure the technical and operational viability of each development.
We have a strong network of collaborators and strategic partners, including experts in geology, geophysics, and hydrogeology; drilling companies; leading consultants in Europe and the United States; as well as electricity distributors and traders.
We also maintain well-established local relationships and the support of the relevant authorities at both the regional and Spanish central government levels. Our goal is to ensure competitive technical proposals that allow us to move forward with rigor and financial strength toward the drilling and subsequent production phases.

Our technical excellence is built on 30 years of experience in hydrogeology, geology, geophysics, and drilling engineering, with a strong track record in drilling and 15 years of experience in the development of geothermal projects in Spain.
We have an in-depth understanding of permitting processes and subsurface exploration, enabling us to move forward with rigor, efficiency, and reliability.
This technical strength is complemented by a clear strategic and financial vision, with experience in investment and financing of energy projects and the backing of partners from investment firms.
